Best thing ever Amy Huntsman2025-04-04Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our stay in The Magical Treehouse exceeded every expectation we had! Everything from the treehouse to the outdoor space- I had a reoccurring thought throughout our stay that they must have prepared the home specifically for our family and that we must have been one of the first people to stay there. It wasn’t until I opened the guest sign-in book that I realized we weren’t at all the first to stay there! Many, many families created wonderful memories in this place. The Magical Treehouse slept mom, dad, four kids, a baby and grandma and grandpa very comfortably! The master room was like a cave- cold and dark- exactly how we love to sleep! Each facet of the home had the thing we needed right where we needed it. (They thought of everything!) Each activity was another adventure and memory made. The river on the property was a DREAM for families with kids who can’t swim. It was only about a foot deep with a fine sandy island and tiny rapids to play in. The ax throwing, horse riding, acorn activity, fairy woods, and rock painting were so fun for the little kids. Suggestion: we tried grocery shopping at the nearby Target but they didn’t have a good selection. Walmart is probably better. Also, make sure to bring something to add to their fairy woods. Ideas would be small houses, toys, kites, ropes, pictures, etc. - anything to add to the imagination of the area. If I HAD to say one negative thing, it would be that the kids didn’t get the prize for the scavenger hunt. All in all, it was probably one of the best family adventures we’ve been on. As a family, we travel to cabins each year and always have to pack some extras to make our stay better, but this place has it all! They have every little detail: night lights for halls and bathrooms, bath robes, stocked supplies, if in a burn ban you can sit at the fire table, kids bunk room is super dark and has a floor fan and the ranch hand is accessible for questions and help! This easily tops our cabins stays and we cant wait to come back! My kids especially love the bunk room and hiking to the creek and catching frogs. The patio is so spacious and the shooting stars at night are magical. Cannot recommend this place enough if you need an escape from the city and traffic! We will be back! My family and I stayed at The Hobbit treehouse. We were looking for a place to relax, reconnect with nature, and bond closely as a family. This experience was that and more. Very thankful for the patience and care Trista gave our little ones during the horse riding lessons. Our oldest (pre-teen) selecting Lucky as her riding horse, the older more persistent horse, was enjoyable and comedic as life dished back some of the tenacity she shows us lately. An easy 10/10 experience. We hope to be back and recommend to any small family looking to have a great time in an intimate setting. Wonderful and memorable time. It had everything we needed for the weekend! We enjoyed being surrounded by the trees. It was so relaxing! We also enjoyed the activities at the ranch. Our most favorite was the river and the animals. The owner/staff were quick to respond to our questions. We highly recommend staying here! This luxurious tent was handmade in Africa sleeps up to four people. At night, the tent’s fabric walls allow owls and coyotes to serenade you to sleep as you snuggle comfortably in your luxurious surroundings!
A charming 50+ year old farm house that sleeps up to 8. It has a wrap-around porch, with a grill and table in the backyard. The barn next door has sitting areas and rugs, and functions as a third bedroom if you want to listen to the sounds of the night.
Magical Treehouse, Spiral Slide off the deck! There's no lack of magic or space, as the Magical Treehouse is a stay the whole family will never forget - or want to leave! The Magical Treehouse on Fuller's Folly River Ranch is the most amazing place to stay in Texas!
