Visit the Big Red Barn; we’ve turned the second floor into an indoor/outdoor space with couches, rugs, and a hammock! Play with the barn kitties, but please don’t feed them or take them to your cabin- they are much safer in the barn!

A Fuller’s Folly coloring book and Scavenger Hunt Guide are available at your cabin! Everything at the Ranch moves at the speed of Nature, which is quite a bit slower than the Interstate! Slowing down to the speed of Nature takes practice; it helps if you pay attention to the other four senses other than sight. The animals of course do this quite well, and they never seem bored (!), so start smelling

We set up a personal cabana for you on an island in the river, complete with lounge chairs and tables. These provide good shelter from the sun! We situate your cabana on the edge of the river and next to the rapids, so that the river runs alongside along with the lovely sound of the river gurgling over and through the stones!

Ax throwing in the yard at the Big Red Barn. Insurance requires that this activity be supervised. Take your turn hurling an ax (well, a hatchet) at the target. For extra fun, throw at a poster of a Most Wanted Criminal!
Fishing is pretty good in the river just above the rapids; the fish seem to like the way the water pools just before it tumbles down the stones that form the rapids. White bass, black bass, perch and catfish are plentiful, and don’t rule out the occasional striper. Alligator gar are also plentiful, but an altogether different fishing experience! Fuller’s Folly also has several ponds; the fishing isn’t as good there imo, but some folks have pretty good luck there too!
You will need a fishing license to fish in the river but not at the ponds on the ranch
