The river was very nice and there were lots of things to do. The trees were beautiful and the Hobbit cabin was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and the outdoor shower was helpful. Had a great vacation there. Not only were the treehouses incredible, the right mix of comfort, whimsy, and utility, without being too fancy/upscale, but it really connected us with the beauty and nature of Texas that is often hard to access or appreciate when viewed from the cities, suburbs or endless highways. The kids especially had an AMAZING time, exploring and playing endlessly, and it set such an amazing tone for our family. Linda was so kind, as was Trista who gave us a great experience with the animals. We'll definitely be back again! We stayed at Fuller's Folly River Ranch and the Magical Treehouse with our four granddaughters (ages 7 to 16), and it was truly enchanting. The girls had a blast searching for fairies, gnomes, and deer throughout the magical forest. The attention to detail—inside and out—was incredible, from whimsical gnome figurines to fairy lights and tree-branch décor. The treehouse felt secluded and peaceful, yet it was just a short drive to Downtown Weatherford. We especially loved relaxing on the patios and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. This place is a dream come true for families looking to create lasting memories. Highly recommend! tammie horton2025-07-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a wonderful relaxing weekend! Six friends stayed in Grandpa’s Farmhouse! Very clean and comfortable! The house was cooled for us when we got there!!!!! If it wasn’t so hot outside I would have stayed the night in the barn! A lot of activities to do there. Unfortunately the river had to be closed due to flooding. Safety always first!!!! Great trip. I booked the Hobbit Tree House as a surprise Father’s Day weekend getaway for our family, and it was absolutely magical! It was the perfect escape from our busy, over-scheduled lives—a chance to slow down and reconnect in the most enchanting setting. Our young children were completely captivated. They loved exploring the whimsical Hobbit Tree House and wandering through the fairy forest, where we even built a little home for our own special fairy. From feeding the friendly barnyard animals and collecting fresh eggs to hunting for hidden geodes, every moment was filled with wonder. Although the river was too high to float during our visit, it just gives us the perfect excuse to come back! Trista, the ranch manager, and her son were incredibly welcoming and helpful, sharing the rich history of the property, which made our stay even more meaningful. We left with full hearts and memories we’ll treasure forever.
